E3 2010

At E3 2010 this year, Nintendo plans to show off Super Mario Galaxy 2, Zelda Wii 2, and Wii Vitality sensor. Not much to say here, but I thought I should tell you.

Metroid: The Other M, website up.

The new Metroid game for Wii, Metroid: The Other M, has it's website up. Right now it's not much. But Nintendo plans for a spring release of the game. Here's a link to the site.

Wii Classic Controller Pro. Coming in April

Nintendo is releasing a new version of the classic controller in the U.S. The Classic Controller Pro! You will still plug this new controller into your Wii remote. This one looks like a rip of the PlayStation 3 controller if you ask me. Until this April, the Pro. was only out in Japan. The controller will be 19.99 at launch. Available in black and white, the Pro. will work with over 450 VC games.

New Zelda Wii rumors? A Majora's Mask sequel?

From the Japanese site 2chan, a new batch of Zelda Wii rumors hit the web. Here's what the rumors are:

This game will be different from most traditional Zelda games.

Link will either be right-handed or left-handed based on what hand you choose to play with.

Link might not be getting the Master Sword at all.

Mounted combat is coming back. Like riding Epona.

This game will not take place in Hyrule, but this Link is the Link from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. He's grown up after being turned back into a child.

Time travel will be in the game.

Now remember these are just rumors. None of them are confirmed in any way. So don't assume they are. We'll have to wait until E3 2010 to see for ourselves.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii out sold Mario Galaxy in 45 days

Super Mario Galaxy has been out since 2007 and sold 4.1 million copies. New Super Mario Bros. Wii has been out for 3 months and sold 4.2 million copies. That's amazing. The old school Mario pushed through the 3D one.

New Luigi's Mansion Game?

Nintendo has trademarked Luigi's Mansion again. Maybe a sequel is in production? Or maybe they're making a New Play Control version on the game. Or this could just be nothing. As of now, no official info about a sequel has been released.

Nintendo DSi XL comes out in Europe March 5th

The Nintendo DSi XL is coming out in Europe March 5th. Europe beat us to it. The DSi XL has a 4.2 inch screens. That's 93% bigger than the original DS Lite screens. The system also features a bigger stylus, similar to a pen. The colors for the DSi XL so far are Wine Red, dark brown and white. It's supposed to come with 2 preinstalled games. The price in Europe is 140 Euros or about 200$
