3DS!?

A new statement by Nintendo says that they're working on a sussessor to the DS. It's code name is the 3DS and it's relese date is around March next year. It will be backwards compatible with DS and DSi games. It will feature 3D without the need to wear 3D glasses. No other info has been relesed. Are you excited for this? Or is it just another DS rip off. Also the DSi XL is out in America and Europe.

Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Relese Date Announced

Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be making it's way to North American Wiis May 23rd (4 days before my birthday!) Metroid: The Other M will come out June 27th. Samus will be controller with the Wii remote on it's side.

Nintendo of Australia has said that Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid the Other M are coming this summer. There has been no word on an American, Japanese or European release date

Rumor: Nintendo DS 2 is in developers hands

It's a rumor that the Nintendo DS 2 (Not final name) the sequel to the popular Nintendo DS, is game developers hands. The system is said to have motion control better than Apple's iPod Touch and iPhone. "It's genuinely the best thing I think I've ever worked with." says one developer. This quote alone is getting me excited. Nintendo plans to have the DS 2 out by the end of the year.

Pink and blue Wii-remotes Feb 14th

Nintendo is giving us two new Wii-remote colors, pink and blue. Both colors will be avalible Febuary 14th for 49.99$. They come bundled with the Wii Moton Plus accessory.

Nintendo to impress us?

Nintendo sent out invitations to a special event they're holding in San Francisco on February 24th. The invitation says "Please join us for a full day of presentations, demos and hands-on game play." What could this mean? Info on Mario Galaxy 2? Metroid? Zelda Wii? Pikmen? A new console?

Rumor: Sonic in Mario Galaxy 2?!

A new rumor hit the web not long ago that Sonic the Hedgehog would be in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This is once again, just a (stupid) rumor. How would Nintendo allow this any way? Seeing Sonic in this game would ruin it for me. Sure they were together in the Olympic games, but why in the world, would Sonic be in this game. He is said to make his appearance in the Green Hill Galaxy. This is once again, just a rumor.

New Nintendo console at the GDC?

A rumor started by a major international publisher it that Nintendo might be revealing a new console at the GDC (game developers conference) Could it be the Wii's successor or a DS successor? There's been so much buzz about a new DS lately, that this might be true. This has not been confirmed in any way it's just a rumor at the moment.

New Zelda Wii info.

"It just feels so natural." That's what Eiji Aonuma said during an interview. "Link's sword and the controller you're holding become one." Zelda Wii 2 is expected to be released late 2010. It will be shown a this years E3. Any other information has yet to be announced.

New Pokemon game in the works

During an interview with Satoru Iwata (Nintendo president) he confirmed a new Pokemon game was in development for the DS. This game is supposed to be a whole new Pokemon game and will contain new adventures and new Pokemon. He also confirmed some new unexpected experiences. The game's release date is aimed for 2010.

E3 2010

At E3 2010 this year, Nintendo plans to show off Super Mario Galaxy 2, Zelda Wii 2, and Wii Vitality sensor. Not much to say here, but I thought I should tell you.

Metroid: The Other M, website up.

The new Metroid game for Wii, Metroid: The Other M, has it's website up. Right now it's not much. But Nintendo plans for a spring release of the game. Here's a link to the site.

Wii Classic Controller Pro. Coming in April

Nintendo is releasing a new version of the classic controller in the U.S. The Classic Controller Pro! You will still plug this new controller into your Wii remote. This one looks like a rip of the PlayStation 3 controller if you ask me. Until this April, the Pro. was only out in Japan. The controller will be 19.99 at launch. Available in black and white, the Pro. will work with over 450 VC games.

New Zelda Wii rumors? A Majora's Mask sequel?

From the Japanese site 2chan, a new batch of Zelda Wii rumors hit the web. Here's what the rumors are:

This game will be different from most traditional Zelda games.

Link will either be right-handed or left-handed based on what hand you choose to play with.

Link might not be getting the Master Sword at all.

Mounted combat is coming back. Like riding Epona.

This game will not take place in Hyrule, but this Link is the Link from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. He's grown up after being turned back into a child.

Time travel will be in the game.

Now remember these are just rumors. None of them are confirmed in any way. So don't assume they are. We'll have to wait until E3 2010 to see for ourselves.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii out sold Mario Galaxy in 45 days

Super Mario Galaxy has been out since 2007 and sold 4.1 million copies. New Super Mario Bros. Wii has been out for 3 months and sold 4.2 million copies. That's amazing. The old school Mario pushed through the 3D one.

New Luigi's Mansion Game?

Nintendo has trademarked Luigi's Mansion again. Maybe a sequel is in production? Or maybe they're making a New Play Control version on the game. Or this could just be nothing. As of now, no official info about a sequel has been released.

Nintendo DSi XL comes out in Europe March 5th

The Nintendo DSi XL is coming out in Europe March 5th. Europe beat us to it. The DSi XL has a 4.2 inch screens. That's 93% bigger than the original DS Lite screens. The system also features a bigger stylus, similar to a pen. The colors for the DSi XL so far are Wine Red, dark brown and white. It's supposed to come with 2 preinstalled games. The price in Europe is 140 Euros or about 200$
